Called safety glass laminate but not shatter when broken disperse. This is thanks to the intermediate layers of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) that unite the different panes of glass. For a better understanding of this effect, when the laminated glass undergoes specific impact, the shattered resembles a spider web. The junction of the glass plates with PVB layers ensures better thermal and acoustic insulation.
